OTTO
Reserved
Otto is a 3 year old neutered male, he is in need of a home without young children. He has mild resource guarding issues with food and has a fear of bracephalic dogs (Like Boxers, Frenchies, Staffies) after a few incidents when he was young.
He is a fit and healthy dog that would like a job, he will require mental stimulation as well as regular exercise. His basic training is not very good but he is very intelligent and will pick it up very quickly if trained appropriately. He is house and crate trained and has spent time in a caravan on holidays.
ARLO
Rehomed
Arlo is an neutered black and white four year old boy who is in need of a new home through no fault of his own. He has been extremely well trained by his owners who love him dearly but have come to realise that their busy home with young children is not the best fit for Arlo who is wary of loud chaotic spaces, unexpected noises and fearful of children. He would be far happier in a quiet, active home with owners able to continue his training.
Arlo is fully house trained and is used to being in a crate although doesn’t use one currently. He can be left for up to four hours and is not destructive although he does love to destroy tennis balls and soft toys if they contain squeakers.
Arlo is an active dog who loves training and multiple activities such as swimming, agility, flyball, scent work and being out in the forest. His current family members have a boat which he is used to going on and enjoys.
Arlo is a typical SWD in that he is wary of unknown people and does not like to be touched by them. He barks when visitors come to the door but will settle and choose not to interact unless they instigate play with a toy. He does not like other dogs in his face especially if they are bigger than him and entire males. He can be redirected with a ball if he needs distracting to move on from situations which may potentially make him uncomfortable.
with many of this breed, Arlo dislikes having his feet touched. He is used to being groomed by a groomer and his current owner and, although shy, accepts being handled at the vets.
Arlo is an affectionate dog who enjoys cuddles with those he knows. He is extremely intelligent and loves to learn and will make a great companion to someone able to provide him with a quiet, calm environment and routine with no children.
